Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dalmo Sousa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hybrius FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Maurício Veloso scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Eduardo Loureiro, making the score, 1-0. Kléberson Donato's late challenge caught a Hybrius FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Donato helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Placa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Donato to maneuver through the defense. If Dalmo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Sousa in the 16th minute of play. When Maurício Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Placa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Veloso couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Hybrius FC's Romário Barreto got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Dalmo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hybrius FC's Carlos Eduardo Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Sousa in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Hamílton Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd match minute, Hybrius FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Barreto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hybrius FC's Sebastião Jacinto got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zézinho Motta made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Dalmo Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Placa's Maurício Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Maurício Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Zézinho Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurício Veloso took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Eduardo Loureiro. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to Placa getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Túlio Prestes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Zézinho Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hybrius FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovani Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Dalmo Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Placa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 94 minutes of play, Placa's Dalmo Sousa made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Placa were the better team. Placa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
