Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicolas Botelho got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Caraubas SS getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dinei Mesquita hit a great ball. After 8 minutes of play, 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC's Reginaldo de Almeida made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipe Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Breno Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alfredo Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC's protests and gave Alfredo Gerber a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Alfredo Gerber notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Caraubas SS's Richard Reis. Richard Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Caraubas SS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Davi Meireles hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Oscar Pena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Reis skillfully saved the ball. Caraubas SS's Richard Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Gerber in the 28th minute of play. Caraubas SS were furious when Dinei Mesquita was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC's Evandro Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC's zone, Noel Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Braga came out of the goal and Noel Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Simão struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Breno Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraubas SS. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nuno Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraubas SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caraubas SS's Davi Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Braga having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Evandro Lopes made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC's Evandro Lopes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 80th minute, Nicolas Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Oscar Pena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caraubas SS's Richard Reis didn't even have to move. Nicolas Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Eduardo Leite received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Richard Reis came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Leite slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 97th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Caraubas SS side.
