In the 7th minute, Hélio Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Baltazar Cardozo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulão Borges. In the 12th minute Betão Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Nois Que Voa's Baltazar Cardozo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulão Borges. Paulão Borges yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Hélio Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Matías da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 minutes of play, Nois Que Voa's Baltazar Cardozo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulão Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Nois Que Voa getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hélio Campidelis hit a great ball. In the 56th match minute, Atlético Nonato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. When Baltazar Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Nois Que Voa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Cardozo couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the game, Nois Que Voa's Delfim Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulão Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. A collision led to Atlético Nonato getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Betão Silva hit a great ball. Atlético Nonato's Paulão Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Campidelis in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Denílson Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Atlético Nonato defense, Hélio Campidelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulão Borges. The Atlético Nonato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulão Borges should have stopped the shot. Paulão Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Cardozo in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Trevisan during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nonato's Vítor Trevisan got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Nois Que Voa's Baltazar Cardozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulão Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matías da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Nonato's zone, Hélio Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulão Borges came out of the goal and Hélio Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nois Que Voa had played much better football throughout.
