An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Metzger in the 6th minute of play forced Uari AD's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Malvadão AC's Warren Metzger in 8 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Leonardo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Warren Metzger in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Gonçalves saved Uari AD from getting behind. A collision led to Malvadão AC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Martin Maxwell hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Melo in the 21st minute of play forced Malvadão AC's goalkeeper Alfredão Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Edson Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uari AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvadão AC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Uari AD's Edson Ortiz got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Malvadão AC's Martin Maxwell broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Uari AD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lucas do Valle hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Warren Metzger in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Alberto Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Warren Metzger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Uari AD got a freekick which was hit by Almir Melo. Warren Metzger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Lima took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Alberto Gonçalves. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Almir Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Carlos Alberto Gonçalves made a huge save. In the 61st minute Dé Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Pedrinho de Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uari AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvadão AC the free kick. Eugênio Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Gonçalves having to interfere. The Malvadão AC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Malvadão AC's Leonardo Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uari AD's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Gonçalves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Lima struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malvadão AC. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Leonardo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvadão AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Warren Metzger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Uari AD's Lucas do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredão Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Warren Metzger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Almir Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredão Arruda. Malvadão AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Almir Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Malvadão AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
