The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renatinho Hoffmann during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arabela AD's Renatinho Hoffmann got a free kick in the 13th minute. Erasmo Goiano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Arabela AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Itapoama FC's Danilo Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Goiano in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Tiago Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Renatinho Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Itapoama FC's goalkeeper Danilo Eger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renatinho Hoffmann. If Erasmo Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the match, Renatinho Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Eger. Itapoama FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renatinho Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Goiano to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ulisses Meireles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arabela AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Isaltino Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Danilo Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Itapoama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Goiano came free, but Danilo Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Salgado's late challenge caught a Arabela AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Itapoama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Paulinho Mangueira hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Erasmo Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arabela AD fully deserved thier win.
