Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albertinho Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Leme in the 26th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Osvaldinho da Rocha suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Tiago Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapoama FC's protests and gave Tiago Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Itapoama FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tiago Paraíba hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Paulinho Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlinhos Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Dieguinho Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Netto having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Dieguinho Leme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertinho Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Itapoama FC booed when Campestre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Leme in the 89th minute of play forced Campestre's goalkeeper Albertinho Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dieguinho Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Albertinho Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Itapoama FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
