AKAI FC's Chico Camargo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save AKAI FC from getting a goal against them. Toriba FC's Cícero Breckenfeld came free and shot a quick shot against goal 19 minutes in the game, fortunately Chico Camargo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Chico Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Pimenta in the 22nd minute of play. If Abel Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AKAI FC's Maurício Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Toriba FC's zone, Adelino Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Silva came out of the goal and Adelino Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caetano Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Silva having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Coelho to strike the kick off in the second half. When Caetano Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKAI FC's protests and gave Caetano Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. Chico Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Maurício Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adelino Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sidnei Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, AKAI FC's Bebeto Mineiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 87th minute, Maurício Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Breckenfeld in the 94th minute of play. Adelino Vaz struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Sidnei Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKAI FC. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Toriba FC were victorious despite being under pressure from AKAI FC for much of the match.
