Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jardel Godoi started the match with the kick off. Classis Spes's Serginho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Lopez in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Classis Spes booed when Belford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Nestor Andrade sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adhemar Corrêa skillfully saved the ball. In the 10th match minute, Belford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Maciel to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Claudinei Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adhemar Corrêa. Belford FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Classis Spes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Fellipe Lopez scored to the left of an out of position Serginho Matorin, making the score, 1-1. In the 18th minute of the match Evandro Veiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serginho Matorin skillfully saved the ball. Serginho Matorin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ramón Custódio sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Cássio Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Siqueira in the 24th minute of play forced Belford FC's goalkeeper Adhemar Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fellipe Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Belford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe Lopez couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Claudinei Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Siqueira to make the kick off. A collision led to Belford FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Jardel Godoi hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Evandro Veiga put in a rough tackle. Nestor Andrade placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Fellipe Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Matorin having to interfere. Sebastião Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serginho Matorin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Cássio Siqueira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 64th minute, Sílvio Luís do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Classis Spes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 68thth minute of the game Jardel Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Classis Spes's Serginho Matorin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fellipe Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Nilson Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Classis Spes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belford FC the free kick. The supporters of Belford FC booed when Classis Spes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serginho Matorin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel Godoi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Belford FC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Mattos. Fellipe Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Classis Spes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Recife to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jardel Godoi put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Serginho Matorin. Fellipe Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhemar Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Classis Spes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
