After a rather tough play, AKAI FC's Caetano Domingues got a free kick in the 53rd minute. AKAI FC's Abel Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sidnei Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Coelho in the 69th minute of play. Chico Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Pimenta in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Caetano Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKAI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Erasmo de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
