After a defensive mix-up in Classis Spes's zone, Leonardo Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serginho Matorin came out of the goal and Leonardo Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the game, Warren Metzger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Serginho Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Warren Metzger in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Matorin saved Classis Spes from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Malvadão AC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Antunes came free, but Alfredão Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Matorin having to interfere. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Leonardo Lima sped through Classis Spes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serginho Matorin. In the 16th match minute, Malvadão AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cássio Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Arruda having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Malvadão AC's Leonardo Lima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serginho Matorin. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Warren Metzger in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Matorin saved Classis Spes from getting behind. Leonardo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Serginho Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Malvadão AC's Adriano Leme got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cássio Siqueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Andrade's late challenge caught a Malvadão AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Malvadão AC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonardo Lima, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Classis Spes's Serginho Matorin. 4-0. Claudinei Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Arruda having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lima in the 62nd minute of play forced Classis Spes's goalkeeper Serginho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Warren Metzger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 83rd minute Warren Metzger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Classis Spes defense, Warren Metzger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serginho Matorin. The Classis Spes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serginho Matorin should have stopped the shot. Serginho Matorin came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Malvadão AC's Leonardo Lima. But to his dismay, Leonardo Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 92 minutes into the match, Classis Spes's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Metzger came free, but Serginho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serginho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warren Metzger in the 95th minute of the match. Malvadão AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
