Leonardo Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Lima scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidnei Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Warren Metzger did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Sidnei Silva 22 minutes into the match. Warren Metzger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sidnei Silva came out and tried to block the shot, but Warren Metzger slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Leonardo Lima notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Toriba FC's Sidnei Silva. Sidnei Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Toriba FC's Cícero Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredão Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Lima got free with Sidnei Silva in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Toriba FC's zone, Adriano Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Silva came out of the goal and Adriano Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidnei Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Warren Metzger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Erasmo de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toriba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvadão AC the free kick. After 48 played minutes Toriba FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo de Lara. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Adriano Leme hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Toriba FC's Rodrigo Pimenta in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malvadão AC's goalie prevented a goal. After 61 minutes, Martin Maxwell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malvadão AC and the Toriba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sidnei Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Lima's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When Erasmo de Lara was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Toriba FC's Erasmo de Lara got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Leonardo Lima came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Malvadão AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Lima couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toriba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvadão AC the free kick. Sidnei Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Lima in the 83rd minute of play. Wellington Pires hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Malvadão AC booed when Toriba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Leonardo Lima made a precise shot to the right of Sidnei Silva. Toriba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Leonardo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Sidnei Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Malvadão AC were the better team. Malvadão AC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
