Renan Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Matorin having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Cássio Siqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campestre's Albertinho Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Campestre got a freekick which was hit by Nando Zonta. Claudinei Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Albertinho Netto made a huge save. Serginho Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Siqueira to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Antunes couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Classis Spes's Claudinei Antunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertinho Netto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudinei Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albertinho Netto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
