To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Belford FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Belford FC's Jardel Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21stth minute of the game Jardel Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campestre's Albertinho Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adhemar Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Sena in the 25th minute of the match. Jardel Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Fellipe Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dida Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
