José Augusto Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fabrício Faria came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Raizama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Faria couldn't finish the play. Benjamim Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sandrinho Salgado made a huge save. Fabrício Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raizama's Horácio de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Neves in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Chicão França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raizama's supporters rose to their feet, but Chicão França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamim Miranda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Sandrinho Salgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benjamim Miranda came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sandrinho Salgado could save by the left post. Chicão França charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chicão França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Raizama's Chicão França got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half Faisqueiro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Augusto Siqueira to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Leandro Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Sandrinho Salgado. Faisqueiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Cássio Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faisqueiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrício Faria during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Raizama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Faria to maneuver through the defense. Sandrinho Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Miranda in the 70th minute of the match. José Augusto Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Horácio de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrício Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faisqueiro's Sandrinho Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Miranda in the 82nd minute of play. Benjamim Miranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandrinho Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamim Miranda ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandrinho Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Miranda in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
