Zé Roberto Branco started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Bezerras SS booed when ATOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomé Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Bezerras SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomé Meirelles couldn't finish the play. Zé Roberto Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Charles Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, ATOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Meirelles came free, but Charles Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Maurício Bittencourt made a huge save. The Bezerras SS fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Bezerras SS's Zé Roberto Branco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th minute of the match, Charles Marquez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maurício Bittencourt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Serginho de Senna hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Zé Roberto Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Valle got free with Maurício Bittencourt in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ATOS FC's Rafael Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Percy Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. In the 87th minute, Zé Roberto Branco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charles Cruz. The goal made the score 1-2. 90 minutes into the match, Tomé Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Cruz. ATOS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the match was over Bezerras SS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ATOS FC throughout the match.
