Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Benjamim Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Bittencourt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Tomé Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Horácio de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Faria in the 15th minute of play forced Bezerras SS's goalkeeper Maurício Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Raizama's Horácio de Amaral got control of the ball when Tomé Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Zé Roberto Branco came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bezerras SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Roberto Branco couldn't finish the play. Maurício Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Faria in the 23rd minute of play. Fabrício Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Maurício Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrício Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurício Bittencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrício Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 minutes of play, Raizama's Benjamim Miranda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Bittencourt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raizama's Horácio de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Raizama from getting a goal against them. The Bezerras SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Raizama were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Roberto Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Raizama's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Branco came free, but Horácio de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bezerras SS's goalkeeper Maurício Bittencourt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Raizama's Zé Carlos Martins got a free kick in the 71st minute. Vágner Arantes did an outstanding performance 73 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Horácio de Amaral in the goal. Raizama's Horácio de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Meirelles in the 82nd minute of play. After 86 minutes Bezerras SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Túlio Vander who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Raizama's Renato Valle getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tomé Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio de Amaral having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Tomé Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horácio de Amaral. Raizama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Raizama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bezerras SS.
