Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gernando Marinho started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ's goalkeeper Mateus Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tião Donato during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tião Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Gernando Marinho made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ's Mateus Cunha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gernando Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Cunha having to interfere. After 17 played minutes, Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ's Danilo Cabral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emerson do Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ reached it. In the 19th play minute Leonardo Lopez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mateus Cunha. 2-0. Leonardo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Cunha having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Dráuzio Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson do Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Leonardo Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dráuzio Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th match minute, Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Cabral to maneuver through the defense. When Carlos Augusto Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Estrellas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Cearense couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Augusto Medeiros made a kick off. Leonardo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Cunha having to interfere. A collision led to Estrellas getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ezequiel Toscano hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Diego Paes suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Ezequiel Toscano charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Toscano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Estrellas got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Toscano. Pedro Luís Cabral, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ezequiel Toscano was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 71st match minute, Estrellas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Toscano to maneuver through the defense. When Estrellas's Leonardo Lopez in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ's goalie prevented a goal. José Augusto Medeiros hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Unimatriz - Bye Bye MZ booed when Estrellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jeferson da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrellas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráuzio Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Emerson do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateus Cunha having to make a save. Leonardo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Cunha having to interfere. Leonardo Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mateus Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Estrellas fully deserved thier win.
