In the 20th minute, Nilton Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Tavaress short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Pedro de Sousa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Nozes Football Club's goalkeeper Jorginho Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjamin Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Loureiro having to interfere. Adriano Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Pedro de Sousa made a huge save. With his leg Pedro de Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Red Nozes Football Club's Adriano Tavares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Tavares in the 59th minute of play forced Illuminati FC's goalkeeper Pedro de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Tiago Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Tavares struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Pedro de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Nozes Football Club. In the 70th minute, Adriano Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerson Lara during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerson Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Illuminati FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cafu Massa hit a great ball. Benjamin Costa came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorginho Loureiro could save by the left post. Red Nozes Football Club's Adriano Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Tiago Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Nozes Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. There was no doubt that Red Nozes Football Club were the better team. Red Nozes Football Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
