Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Cícero Veloso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Cícero Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cido Vinhas. Statter FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cícero Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rueiros's Cláudio Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Statter FC's Cido Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Dionísio in the 14th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Statter FC! In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Rueiros. Dudu Aparecido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cido Vinhas. 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Galvão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Statter FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rueiros the free kick. The supporters of Rueiros booed when Statter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cido Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Veloso in the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Cícero Veloso put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cido Vinhas. Cláudio Dionísio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cido Vinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Cícero Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cido Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Cido Vinhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rueiros. Raimundo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Galvão in the 45th minute of the match. William Borges hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Statter FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rueiros were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agnaldo Galvão made a kick off. Jailson Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 minutes, Manoel de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rueiros and the Statter FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rueiros getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Manoel de Sousa hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Statter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Dionísio came free, but Cido Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cícero Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Vinhas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Pombal in the 65th minute of play forced Rueiros's goalkeeper Raimundo Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cido Vinhas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cícero Veloso in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Cícero Veloso took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Cido Vinhas to make any attempt to save it. Rueiros's Cláudio Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Statter FC's Ricardo de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cícero Veloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cido Vinhas having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Saldanha during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rueiros booed when Statter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cláudio Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cícero Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agnaldo Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Raimundo Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Cláudio Dionísio rounded Statter FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. With a little luck, Statter FC's Cido Vinhas got control of the ball when Cícero Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Rueiros left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Statter FC.
