The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Eduardo Oliveira during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25thth minute of the game Amadeu de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Statter FC's Cido Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavio Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cido Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Vinhas having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cido Vinhas made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Flavio Cordaryal sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cido Vinhas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Flavio Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Ediberto Quadros in the 40th minute really tested Cido Vinhas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cido Vinhas was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Amadeu de Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amadeu de Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeu de Castro to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Amadeu de Castro made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Statter FC's Cido Vinhas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Amadeu de Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Vinhas was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu de Castro in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Vinhas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 85 minutes, Flavio Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viela F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Cordaryal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto das Neves having to interfere. Ricardo Sanches took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cido Vinhas. Statter FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amadeu de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Viela F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
