The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Deivid Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kajetan Gmoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Di Daa having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Jairo Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birutas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abaitinga FC the free kick. Jairo Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Abaitinga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Beltxe to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Geovani Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kajetan Gmoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute of the match, Sandro Severo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geovani Lira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 38th minute Fabrizio Varglien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fabrizio Varglien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovani Lira was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute of the match, Sandro Severo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geovani Lira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabrizio Varglien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Kajetan Gmoch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Severo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Abaitinga FC's zone, Fabrizio Varglien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani Lira came out of the goal and Fabrizio Varglien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Birutas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Gmoch came free, but Di Daa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Varglien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Abaitinga FC's Kajetan Gmoch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Di Daa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Abaitinga FC's Fernan Beltxe got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Geovani Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Varglien in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Lara during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Birutas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Lara to maneuver through the defense. Abaitinga FC's Kajetan Gmoch got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Sandro Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Di Daa went to the wrong direction when Kajetan Gmoch was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Fabrizio Varglien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovani Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Dante in the 85th minute of play. Fabrizio Varglien might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Lira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Varglien ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute Sandro Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Gmoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Di Daa having to interfere. Abaitinga FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Birutas FC had controlled the match.
