After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Alfredo Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serginho Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfredo Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Tande in the 36th minute of the match. Oséas Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Perivaldo Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moipora AD. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Tande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Perivaldo Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Glauco Oliveira's late challenge caught a Moipora AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The corner ended in Acácio Abreu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lauro's Perivaldo Pombal did a great save. Moipora AD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lauro for a fine match.
