After a defensive mix-up in Iutica's zone, João Pedro de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Délio Leme came out of the goal and João Pedro de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. Délio Leme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Délio Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro de Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. João Pedro de Azevedo scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Délio Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Orlando Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Délio Leme. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cléber Cunha to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Délio Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 96 minutes, Fabrício Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caldeiroes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caldeiroes played a much better game than Iutica and deserved their victory. The Iutica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
