Maurinho Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Trigo having to interfere. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Carlos Alberto de Castro sped through Pinhal Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natanael Barreto. A collision led to Coelho E.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Durval Rezende hit a great ball. Maurinho Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto de Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reinaldo Travassos struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Zé Carlos Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhal Futebol Clube. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Carlos Alberto de Castro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 59th playminute. In the 77th minute, Francisco Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Maurinho Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Carlos Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Travassos in the 87th minute of play. Zé Carlos Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Travassos in the 94th minute of the match.
