In the 15th minute, Silvério Silveira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 16 minutes into the game, Arlindo Linares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hard Rock's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baroneza the free kick. A collision led to Hard Rock getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arlindo Linares hit a great ball. Luiz Paulo Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvério Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Paulo Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvério Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Paulo Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hard Rock's Arlindo Linares got a free kick in the 24th minute. Laerte Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Valladares in the 38th minute of play forced Hard Rock's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Hard Rock's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laerte Paranaense. If Laerte Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Baroneza's Silvério Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Paulo Brito. Luiz Paulo Brito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Silvério Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laerte Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hard Rock's Luiz Paulo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Cearense in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Hard Rock getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Arlindo Linares hit a great ball. The penalty shot was made by Luís Paulo Castro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hard Rock's Luiz Paulo Brito. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Delfim Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hard Rock's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jairo Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ronaldo Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Silveira in the 94th minute of play forced Hard Rock's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Paulo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Silveira in the 96th minute of the match. When Laerte Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Baroneza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Paranaense couldn't finish the play. Luciano Valladares scored 5-0 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Paulo Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
