Patrick Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Rodrigues having to interfere. The supporters of Campeche FC booed when DIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, DIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Lira came free, but Hílton Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Mineiro made a kick off. Hílton Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Alvarenga in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Campeche FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while DIAN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
