Spectators: 6425 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rafael Negri made the kick off which started today's match. Coelho E.C.'s Zé Carlos Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Negri in the 3rd minute of play. Eugênio Pinheiro made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Coelho E.C.'s Wanderson Tasso. Durval Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Matos having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Carlos Alberto de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coelho E.C.'s Claudinei Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Wanderson Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Acácio Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Rafael Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wanderson Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acácio Matos was a little too slow when Wanderson Tasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Coelho E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Negri came free, but Zé Carlos Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Acácio Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Castro in the 53rd minute of play. Coelho E.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Vasconcelos in the 54th minute. Coelho E.C.'s Wanderson Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mário Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Edmundo Vasconcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Acácio Matos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Vasconcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute of the match Renatinho Godoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Acácio Matos skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Alberto de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Matos having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Coelho E.C.'s Claudinei Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Acácio Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto de Castro in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Acácio Matos saved Magalhaes from getting behind. Rafael Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Carlos Alberto de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Alberto de Castro struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Acácio Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coelho E.C.. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugênio Pinheiro during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Magalhaes getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eugênio Pinheiro hit a great ball. Carlos Alberto de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Carlos Alberto de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coelho E.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
