If Benjamim Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Toledos getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Eliseu de Mendonça hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Rolante's Manoel Leme got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rolante's goalkeeper Váldson Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Váldson Mello came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Toledos's Benjamim Marques. But to his dismay, Benjamim Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rolante's Váldson Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Marques in the 17th minute of play. Matheus Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Toledos getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Matheus Pinheiro hit a great ball. Váldson Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu de Mendonça in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Toledos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, one of Toledos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toledos's goalkeeper Ernesto Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Santana in the 32nd minute of play forced Toledos's goalkeeper Ernesto Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Eliseu de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Váldson Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jean Gaúcho hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play Toledos's Matheus Pinheiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 43rd match minute, Toledos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Rolante's Emerson Peres broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benjamim Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Rolante players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Toledos were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamim Marques to make the kick off. Ernesto Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Furtado in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Rolante's goalkeeper Váldson Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamim Marques. Benjamim Marques struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Váldson Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toledos. In the 73rd minute Carlos Eduardo Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toledos's Ernesto Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Furtado in the 77th minute of play. Váldson Mello made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Benjamim Marques sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Carlos Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Benjamim Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
