Spectators: 7039 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) Albertinho de Lima started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wellington Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Souza in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Dorival Souza made a precise shot to the right of Wellington Chaves. Pirambu EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Pirambu EC's Jean Guimarães got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Souza in the 18th minute of play forced Pirambu EC's goalkeeper Wellington Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldão Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Duarte Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Albertinho de Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Duarte Veiga. Albertinho de Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 29 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Veiga. Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldão Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s Duarte Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho de Lima in the 32nd minute of play. Dorival Souza took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wellington Chaves. Wellington Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s Duarte Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho de Lima in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s Duarte Veiga got control of the ball when Ronaldão Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duarte Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertinho de Lima's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. If Albertinho de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorival Souza made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Coelho in the 51st minute of play forced Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s goalkeeper Duarte Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexsandro Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexsandro Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Chaves having to interfere. The supporters of Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C. booed when Pirambu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pirambu EC's Wellington Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Souza in the 72nd minute of play. Ronaldão Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Pirambu EC's goalkeeper Wellington Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexsandro Gonçalves. Duarte Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho de Lima in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Albertinho de Lima notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Chuta Bunda de Vaca F. C.'s Duarte Veiga. Duarte Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
