Gabi Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Barbosa in the 18th minute of the match. Jörgen Billström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Aloísio Meirelles notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of EC Relâmpago's Jörgen Billström. Jörgen Billström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
