The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 29 played minutes Tadeu de Amorim rounded Rockers FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Filipe Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Paulista having to interfere. Filipe Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alexandre Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Filipe Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Tadeu de Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for César Chaves to make any attempt to save it.

In the 52nd minute of the match Reginaldo Fernandes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Paulista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Filipe Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes, Filipe Viana made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ziguifrid Metal Time's Alexandre Paulista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute Maurinho Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Viana got free with Alexandre Paulista in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes, Alessandro Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ziguifrid Metal Time and the Rockers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ziguifrid Metal Time getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alessandro Braga hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Rockers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu de Amorim came free, but César Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ziguifrid Metal Time's zone, Filipe Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Paulista came out of the goal and Filipe Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Filipe Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Filipe Viana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rockers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After 81 played minutes Ziguifrid Metal Time got a freekick which was hit by Gino Secco. Cláudio de Azevedo's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Alexandre Paulista on his right side and into the goal. 82 minutes into the game it was 2-4. If Filipe Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ziguifrid Metal Time's zone, Jerônimo Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Paulista came out of the goal and Jerônimo Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rockers FC's Giuseppe Motta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alexandre Paulista but with some difficulty. Rockers FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
