Marcel Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adilson Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltazar Valadares's late challenge caught a Caveira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the match, Caveira's Eusébio Fantini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Valadares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giovanni Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded godines bc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caveira.
