Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Arósio in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Ramos in the 25th minute of play forced DEPORTIVO LANA's goalkeeper Fábio de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO LANA's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Pontes came free, but Fábio de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When AD Girl Power's Daniel Arósio in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. When Douglas Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the AD Girl Power fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Ramos couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Luís Eduardo Melo fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AD Girl Power's protests and gave Luís Eduardo Melo a yellow card for diving instead. The DEPORTIVO LANA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AD Girl Power were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
