Internacional's Dinei Nascimento got a free kick in the 23rd minute. tupã's Marcelinho de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredinho Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Lopes in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Deivid Arce shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredinho Gaúcho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcelinho de Castros short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got 陈霖骏 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Murillo da Rocha took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for 陈霖骏 to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tostão Cearense to make the kick off. After 73 minutes of play, tupã's Marcelinho de Castro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 陈霖骏 was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Wágner Lopes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Wágner Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC. SC. Internacional's 陈霖骏 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho de Castro in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho de Castro in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 陈霖骏 saved SC. Internacional from getting behind. 陈霖骏 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho de Castro's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. A collision led to SC. Internacional getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hortêncio de Lima hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Joélson Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the tupã players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
