The referee ignored Bujaru EC's protests and gave Zé Paulo Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Paulo Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Lsiim F.C.'s Chicão Alcântara got a free kick in the 50th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lsiim F.C.'s zone, Edmundo Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Nunes came out of the goal and Edmundo Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Luiz Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Cardozo in the 55th minute of play. Manoel Guimarães came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Luiz Nunes could save by the left post. João Augusto Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Baiano in the 75th minute of the match. Bujaru EC's Elói de Lara got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Elói de Lara off the ground. A collision led to Bujaru EC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Elói de Lara hit a great ball. In the 80th match minute, Lsiim F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Custódio to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Bujaru EC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Baiano came free, but João Augusto Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lsiim F.C.'s Valdir Baiano in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bujaru EC's goalie prevented a goal.
