Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gildo Marques to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, André Luiz Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. S.E. Caeté had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
