The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Atlético Goianiense's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Antunes came free, but Edvaldo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Murilo Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Régis do Vale. Pirapitinguy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Adalberto Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis do Vale having to interfere. The Atlético Goianiense players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
