In the 19th minute, Giovanni Trancoso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amauri Fonseca, passed just outside the right post. In the 21st match minute, Jales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovanni Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Amauri Fonseca made a huge save. Leonardo Neto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Jales FC's Amauri Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Prestes in the 52nd minute of play. If Cristian Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amauri Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Dráuzio Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Barros during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jales FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Osvaldo Barros hit a great ball. Giovanni Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jales FC's Tales Miranda got a free kick in the 74th minute. Cristian Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Fonseca having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Yellow Jegue had played much better football throughout.
