To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Barros during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Jales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Barros to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Emílio Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamanacari FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Jamanacari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Falcão came free, but Claudinei Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amauri Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Paulo Mendonça got free with Amauri Fonseca in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Paulo Mendonça scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amauri Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 played minutes Jamanacari FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Schmidt. In the 24th minute, Wiliam Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Fred Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amauri Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Esteves in the 26th minute of play. Jales FC's Amauri Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Jales FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Paulo Mendonça could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Amauri Fonseca however easily saved by the left post. In the 32nd minute Fred Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Fred Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamanacari FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Osvaldo Barros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Osvaldo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Ricardo Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jales FC and the Jamanacari FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Marinho hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Pedro Paulo Mendonça sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jales FC's Amauri Fonseca didn't even have to move. A collision led to Jales FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Allan Falcão hit a great ball. Amauri Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Esteves's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Amauri Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Esteves in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frederico Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Fonseca having to interfere. Frederico Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diego Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amauri Fonseca having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Schmidt in the 95th minute of play forced Jales FC's goalkeeper Amauri Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Fred Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jales FC's Amauri Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
