Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Vivaldo Sampaio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Hamílton Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cancela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC PILÂO the free kick. After 5 played minutes Cancela got a freekick which was hit by Willian Tavares. FC PILÂO's Cesinha Trevisan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cancela. Willian Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rafael Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cancela's Jânio Goiano in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC PILÂO's goalie prevented a goal. Jânio Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Rafael Toscano made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Dinei Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cancela's goalkeeper Arnaldo Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willian Arruda's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Willian Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Willian Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rafael Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Zézinho Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC PILÂO and the Cancela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Willian Arruda made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cancela booed when FC PILÂO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willian Arruda struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Rafael Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cancela. The audience was convinced that Willian Arruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Toscano was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. A collision led to FC PILÂO getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Antônio Gomes hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Willian Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cancela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willian Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Goiano in the 64th minute of the match. Willian Arruda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Toscano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Dinei Esteves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Arnaldo Trigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jânio Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Toscano having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC PILÂO's goalkeeper Rafael Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th play minute Dinei Esteves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnaldo Trigo. 0-1.
