Arlindo Leite started the match with the kick off. Valdir Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Repushow F.C.'s Valdir Fontes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valério Sousa. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Valério Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Maia during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexsandro Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Repushow F.C.'s Valdir Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Repushow F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Leite came free, but Arthur de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Repushow F.C.'s zone, Rômulo Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur de Queiroz came out of the goal and Rômulo Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rômulo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Repushow F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Renatinho Dantas hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, EC Tianjin Quanjian's Gilvan Trigo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Valdemar Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Valdir Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Valério Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Valdir Fontes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Valério Sousa to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdir Fontes made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Repushow F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ismael de Brito came free, but Arthur de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Repushow F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Renatinho Dantas hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Arlindo Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Repushow F.C. defense, Rômulo Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arthur de Queiroz. The Repushow F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. If José de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EC Tianjin Quanjian's Valério Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Fontes in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the EC Tianjin Quanjian defense, José de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valério Sousa. The EC Tianjin Quanjian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valério Sousa should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Repushow F.C. booed when EC Tianjin Quanjian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael de Brito's late challenge caught a Repushow F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael de Brito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Ismael de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rômulo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur de Queiroz having to interfere. If José de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Valdir Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Repushow F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Repushow F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while EC Tianjin Quanjian had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
