Richard Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute of the match Fernandão de Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Fausto de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Michel Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubanheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ademar Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ubanheira's protests and gave Ademar Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TuDi FC booed when Ubanheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led TuDi FC's José Maria Trevisan to fire away a dangerous shot which Richard Souza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fausto de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Adriano de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubanheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Michel Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubanheira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TuDi FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ubanheira's Michel Machado got a free kick in the 47th minute. Richard Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Amadeu Zanette made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ubanheira's goalkeeper Richard Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Salgado in the 53rd minute of the match. Richard Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olívio Salgado in the 57th minute. Adriano de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute.
