The Pentagna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias Freitas should have stopped the shot. When Fabrício Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blu3FNX FC's protests and gave Fabrício Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Blu3FNX FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fabrício Bastos hit a great ball. Osvaldinho Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Pentagna booed when Blu3FNX FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Renatinho Silva made a huge save. Léo Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Freitas having to interfere. Albertinho Diniz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Mathias Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Albuquerque in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Blu3FNX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Blu3FNX FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuca Albuquerque made a kick off. Renatinho Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Valadares in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Jairo Vander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renatinho Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Durvalino Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Pentagna's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Albuquerque came free, but Mathias Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Edgard Valadares notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Blu3FNX FC's Renatinho Silva. Renatinho Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 played minutes Blu3FNX FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Leal.
