Robinho Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Trigo in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Ultras E.C booed when MANAGER MANIPULA RESULTAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Coelho in the 12th minute of play forced MANAGER MANIPULA RESULTAD's goalkeeper Pedrão Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ultras E.C fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Ultras E.C's Cláudio Rossi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jerônimo Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerônimo Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Ultras E.C's goalkeeper Robinho Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Netto. A long shot from Ernesto Queiroz in the 30th minute of play was well struck, but Robinho Linares made a really good save at the right post. If Cláudio Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jerônimo Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Cláudio Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ultras E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerônimo Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ultras E.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Cláudio Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MANAGER MANIPULA RESULTAD's Pedrão Meirelles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cláudio Rossi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Pedrão Meirelles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 64th minute Cafu Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Cardoso in the 91st minute of play forced Ultras E.C's goalkeeper Robinho Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrão Meirelles was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Cláudio Rossi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cláudio Rossi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ultras E.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
