Vicente de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by pLaYbOyS PaRaenses's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Dantas was slow to take the kick. During this time Santos Madrid FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Santos Madrid FC's Lucas Dantas to fire away a dangerous shot which Kiko Trancoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Róbson Vieira hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Cícero Lucas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Santos Madrid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Garcia came free, but Cícero Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Gino Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Frédson de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. pLaYbOyS PaRaenses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos Madrid FC the free kick. After the first half pLaYbOyS PaRaenses were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gino Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Célio Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Lucas having to interfere. Cícero Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gino Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cícero Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, pLaYbOyS PaRaenses's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo de Brito came free, but Kiko Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo de Brito struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Kiko Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos Madrid FC. If Dráuzio Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cícero Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gino Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Santos Madrid FC! When the match was over pLaYbOyS PaRaenses could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Santos Madrid FC throughout the match.
