If Leonardo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CSA's Leonardo Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Zé Carlos Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Carlos Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beloslav Kotzakov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26thth minute of the game Leonardo Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Democracia Socialista's Beloslav Kotzakov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gil Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrinho Veiga went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Eger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Pedrinho Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Democracia Socialista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of CSA booed when Democracia Socialista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Willian Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beloslav Kotzakov made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Leonardo Eger sent off a good shot on target. Zé Carlos Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beloslav Kotzakov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Carlos Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinícius Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beloslav Kotzakov having to interfere. When Vinícius Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the CSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinícius Jacinto couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gil Lopez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Veiga notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CSA's Gil Lopez. Gil Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gil Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Veiga in the 84th minute of the match. Beloslav Kotzakov was a little too slow when Leonardo Eger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the CSA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Democracia Socialista.
