With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Salgado in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovanni Alves saved Barcelona FC from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Walmyr Pereira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Barcelona FC's Geovanni Alves. Geovanni Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 minutes of play, Tupipano FC's Walmyr Pereira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Carlos Fernando Salgado made a precise shot to the right of Geovanni Alves. Barcelona FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Caco Lago hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Carlos Fernando Salgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona FC's Geovanni Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Tupipano FC booed when Barcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Walmyr Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Alves having to interfere. When Walmyr Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Tupipano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Pereira couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Fernando Salgado to make the kick off. Walmyr Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barcelona FC's Geovanni Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Salgado in the 55th minute of play. Geovanni Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Pereira in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Walmyr Pereira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Geovanni Alves, passed just outside the right post. Geovanni Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Tupipano FC's Walmyr Pereira in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 74th match minute, Barcelona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Vides to maneuver through the defense. Róbson Vianna hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tupipano FC's zone, Luís Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Eger came out of the goal and Luís Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovanni Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Pereira in the 83rd minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Salgado struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Geovanni Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tupipano FC. Walmyr Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Alves having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Carlos Fernando Salgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcelona FC's goalkeeper Geovanni Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Walmyr Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Alves having to interfere. If Walmyr Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tupipano FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
