After some careless play in the Formosa defense, Yuri Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Leal. The Formosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Leal should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Alcântara in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimir Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Natanael Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luciano Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yuri Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the TZARAs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Marinho couldn't finish the play. In the 18thth minute of the game Yuri Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formosa's Luciano Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erasmo Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Falcão in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Yuri Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Braga struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Erasmo Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formosa. Igor Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Erasmo Abreu made a huge save. After 38 minutes of play, TZARAs FC's Deivid Simão made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 41 minutes, Yuri Marinho made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Formosa's Luciano Leal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvaldo Capixaba to make the kick off. Yuri Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Luciano Leal made a huge save. With a little luck, Formosa's Luciano Leal got control of the ball when Natanael Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Nicolas Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the TZARAs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Luciano Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, TZARAs FC's Natanael Corrêa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luciano Leal. Luciano Leal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Luciano Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Marinho in the 71st minute of play. After 75 minutes, João Carlos Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Formosa and the TZARAs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute Rubinho Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as TZARAs FC's Carlos Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luciano Leal. That made the score 0-7 after 79 minutes of play. Luciano Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Luciano Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Alcântara in the 91st minute. Natanael Corrêas short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Luciano Leal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. TZARAs FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
