Gildo Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ledo SS's Hudson de Sousa got a free kick in the 4th minute. Gildo Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Breckenfeld in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Aracnídeos booed when Ledo SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Waldir Breckenfeld fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Ledo SS's zone, Adhemar Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gildo Couto came out of the goal and Adhemar Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ledo SS's Abel Brito got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Breckenfeld in the 28th minute of play forced Ledo SS's goalkeeper Gildo Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adhemar Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Breckenfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gildo Couto having to make a save. If Juvenal Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Walmir Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Aracnídeos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ledo SS were winning 0-1.

In the 58thth minute of the game Juvenal Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aracnídeos's Dalmo Siqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juvenal Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dalmo Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aracnídeos getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Artur Gerber hit a great ball. Juvenal Ceresso might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Siqueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juvenal Ceresso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Artur Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Ramiro Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ledo SS and the Aracnídeos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Ledo SS got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Velasco. Igor Santana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gildo Couto. Ledo SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Ledo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Igor Santana struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gildo Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aracnídeos. After having played for 89 minutes, Isaltino Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ledo SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Isaltino Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adhemar Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Couto having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ledo SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
