Silvério Ceresso hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Tuiti FC's goalkeeper Fiori Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizinho Velloso. Fiori Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Donio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tuiti FC booed when Ponta da Praia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Fabinho Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ştefan Bogătan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Artemio Donio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fiori Carneiro, 3-0. 33 minutes into the match, Tuiti FC's Donato Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tuiti FC's zone, Artemio Donio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Carneiro came out of the goal and Artemio Donio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fiori Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Donio in the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Tuiti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Fiori Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Donato Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Neves having to interfere. Donato Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tiago Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Siqueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ponta da Praia FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Siqueira was slow to take the kick. During this time Tuiti FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Fabinho Penha got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 57 minutes into the match. 5-1 became the score in the 64th minute when Luizinho Velloso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Ştefan Bogătan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tuiti FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dedé Valle hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Donio in the 74th minute of play forced Tuiti FC's goalkeeper Fiori Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiori Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías de Carvalho in the 84th minute of the match. Tuiti FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
